A Rodworker is a specially trained tradesperson who installs reinforcing steel and accessories in the building of all types of concrete structures in all sectors of the construction industry. A Rodworker installs reinforcing steel which includes the structures we live, shop and play in, as well as the different types of structures we have come to rely on as part of our infrastructure, including highways & bridges, sewage and water treatment plants, dams and reservoirs and electric generating stations to name but a few of the applications of reinforced concrete.
