What do Construction Teamsters do?

Construction Teamsters often drive dump trucks and pup dump trucks, belly dumps, and boom trucks on construction sites. Construction Teamsters work all over the place, sometimes in remote areas, on road construction projects, or on construction sites, and may be away from home for extended periods of time. Teamsters work can be seasonal, depending on the weather. Employment is somewhat different with the Construction Teamsters than in most industries. Construction Teamsters work outside in the cold, sun, rain, dirt, and snow. The work can require considerable sitting, standing, bending and reaching as well as extensive driving.
