IT HURTS US ALL!

Growth of the underground economy is a serious and growing problem for the legitimate construction industry.

The Ontario Construction Secretariat and its unionized contractor and labour members are undertaking initiatives to address and roll back growth of underground practices in construction. Unscrupulous contractors and workers are stealing jobs by evading taxes, and otherwise cheating the system.
